LIGHTBOX & MURAL INSTALLATION

Bear Electric and The Image Press working with us toward the same goal.

FIRST LIGHT BEFORE THE FIRST COAT

The paint plan is finished, the primer is up. Painting begins this morning.

PICKING THE PERFECT MAP

Finding the best map to depict the FInger Lakes region was not a simple task. The 24' wide wall needed something that added visual interest to the space without dominating it. We eventually selected a map that was printed just a decade or so before the wine industry began here in the region, circa 1845. Special thanks to Boris Michev at Cornell's Olin Library for playing an important role in allowing Jon Reis to photograph the vintage piece.

BARREL HUNTING

Special thanks to Dick Reno at Chateau LaFayette Reneau for his generous contributions to the exhibits at the Wine Center.

OFF TO THE Edible COCKTAIL PARTY

Michael & Zoe of the Edible Finger Lakes publication are hosting a private party to introduce vineyard and winery owners as well as winemakers to the Finger Lakes Wine Center executive director, Suzanne Lonergan. Should be an exciting night in Watkins Glen.

CLEANING BEFORE THE STAINING

Friday-night sweeping in time for the Monday-morning concrete staining.
